Do you know what that is? It’s a DVD – not too sure if they’ve released those yet in the backwoods. Sterling is a funny kid and a bonafide ripper.

hey “kookdestroyer”, ease up bro, and maybe consider a spelling lesson before you write anything else. also, you should be stoked that a dude like sterling is putting the ENTIRE gulf coast back on the map. he’s humble, funny as hell and absolutely rips. when was the last time ANYONE from alabama had full page spreads in all the big mags, 2 full sections in ANY major billabong movie, and drove a 1986 dodge omni 4-door hatchback, hmmm?….that’s right, never. so quit hating and start congratulating, i promise it’ll make you feel better.

As a long time (15+ years) alabama surfer and occasionally p’cola I am really dissapointed to read some of the coments coming from some of the “alabama guys” on here. I have surfed all over the world and lived in and surfed in other countries for short stints. This animosity shouldn’t exist in this area. I didn’t witness this level of bad vibes in truly “localized” and challenging breaks in other places.
I am always happy to get some positive recognition coming from out of our area of the gulf. Sterling is representing the Gulf Coast, proving we have waves and talent. Sterling is obviously a talented surfer and the times I’ve surfed wth him I haven’t noticed any attitude problems. There shouldn’t be any negativity between alabama and p’cola surfers. These guys definitely don’t represent everyone in alabama.

To all, English lesson time. “Your a Kook”. Wrong. “you’re a kook” as in ‘you are’. Trying to belittle people with very little command on syntax and the English language really shows your (notice, your as in possessive, not you are which would be “you’re”) ignorance. Confused, spend less time knocking on Sterling and more time learning correct English. Keep rocking Sterling!
